It is generally my position that those who cry religion and sanctity the loudest are the one hiding sin. This is no different a case. Those in "The Family" have been proven to be (as most all are) not without sin. They point the "holy" finger both in country and out at those who deserve, in their eyes, judgement. Doesn't the Bible say, "Let he without sin cast the first stone?" These men are not without sin, and that I do not begrudge them. What I do find reprehensible is the fact the have anointed themselves Saints and are proposing the right to judge others. To support a law that would execute people solely based on their sexual preference is no different from supporting the laws that enslaved millions. For a Pastor to not disavow such a practice slaps of bigotry and nothing less. It is insane to believe God would find such a measure just. What of the Commandment "thou shalt not kill?" If we go about killing those with whom we do not agree or those who we take issue with their choices, what will become of humanity? I will tell, because we do so, the worlds would become as it is. We are a people full of hatred, mistrust, ill conceived righteousness, judgement, so very willing to cast stones at others when if in the spotlight it would be us who would be stoned to death for our misdeeds. We, humanity, have no humanity.
