Well Loves, I am back from my..um.. 2 year-long political blog hiatus, and it appears I am just in time for the fall of the Republic. Donald J. Dear (Former Vice President) Dick Cheney, From the moment then-Senator Obama launched his bid for President, you and your Party have set out to de-legitimize him. You speak of love for Country and a desire to protect the "Homeland." When in office, you demanded everyone bow to your plan for the Nation, and anyone so bold as to question your tactics was drummed out of government and slain on the public stage. You all co-opted Patriotism, denied truths, and committed "High Crimes and Misdemeanors," all while waiving the flag. You know your history; more importantly, we know your history. The ice caps are melting, the Earth set to boil, one supposed Democratic Senator is dead-set on denying millions of Americans affordable healthcare, the country remains at war, Main Street is still in a Recession...etc...etc.. but none of that seems to matter at all. At least that is the feeling I get when watching mainstream media. The 24 hour news cycle has become little more than a tabloid magizine with tiny interjections of real news. I can't say "Breaking News" because at this point, "Breaking News" consists of the latest Tiger Woods mistress declaring she has a broken heart!
